IN CHARACTER
CHARACTER: Timothy Lawrence
CANON: Borderlands
AGE: 34
DESCRIPTION: Identical to Hyperion CEO and all-around unstable shitlord Handsome Jack. Approximately 6'0'' with a solidly built dorito bod. (Almost certainly in better shape than the real Jack.) Tends to dress for comfort and practicality. His facial features are indeed handsome, sharp and chiseled, and he notably has heterochromia: left eye green, right eye blue. Although the mask attached to his face is cracked, it still somehow obscures the large scar that spans the virtual entirety of his face, as well as the fact that his left eye is actually white and opaque, suggesting blindness and/or artifice. Finally, his right hand is fully cybernetic from the wrist onward, though it's pretty natural-looking -- save for the glowing letter H emblazoned on the back of it, you might just think he's wearing a leather glove or something. He used to have a sort of gear pattern tattoo encircling that same wrist, but he seems to have lost it with his original hand.
DEMEANOR: An outwardly easygoing manner that very thinly disguises how traumatized he is. He's affable enough and a little scattered, with occasional glimmers of acerbity and/or dark humor. Although sometimes easily annoyed, he's very slow to real anger.
ABILITIES: At this point Tim's a hell of a scrapper and knows his way around just about any gun you put in front of him. After seven years on a space station, he's also gotten skilled at ferreting out hiding places and secret passages in the walls and vents and so on. He's also genuinely good at imitating other people, but admittedly he's studied almost nobody besides Handsome Jack that closely.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: He's honestly pretty hard to offend. There is Handsome Jack, of course, though there's clearly a part of him that REALLY wants to talk about it but just doesn't feel 100% ready.

However, Tim is also very good at underplaying/compartmentalizing how crap his life was under Jack, so please don't think of these as subjects that need to come up in every thread (or ever!) with your particular character. Admittedly it will be easier to avoid these topics in IC dialogue than in the narrative, but I'm glad to accommodate no matter what.
